STEPS TO BECOMING AN OFFICIAL WITH CMHA

It is recommeded that you are 12 years of age to start officialting with Clavet Minor Hockey Association. If you are 11 and interested please register or contact the Referee Mentor for more information.

Every year officials must complete their required Hockey Saskatchewan Certifications in order to officiate that season. All referees must also complete the CMHA Officials Registration Form each season. Failure to complete the Hockey Saskatchewan and CMHA requirements will remove you from the officiating database.

1. Register at 
Hockey Saskatchewan. Complete all the certifications required, as listed on the Hockey Saskatchewan Officials Page.

2. After you have completed the Hockey Saskatchewan Officiating requirements, you will be provided the links to sign up for the on-ice session you wish to attend. The on-ice session is required. The session held in Clavet will be on October 7, 2023. Sign up for the session in Clavet as well as in other locations/dates are available with Hockey Saskatchewan.

3. You must also complete the CMHA Officials Registration Form and review the Officials Code of Conduct, Duties and Etiquette. Once entered into the CMHA Officials Registration System, you will receive information on how to set your availability.
